Your introduction to At the Door Midwifery Service begins with a free 60 to 90-minute consultation to discuss what you are looking for in a care provider, and if home birth is right for you. This is your chance to interview me and for us all to get a sense of if we are a good fit.
After your consultation is scheduled, I will email you some more information about At the Door Midwifery Service and questionnaires for you and your partner to complete.
We’ll go over what you could expect from your care, what some of your options are, and discuss paperwork to complete before your initial prenatal visit, should we choose to work together. I also want to hear about what draws you to midwifery care and home birth, and about your goals and hopes for this pregnancy and birth.
Please come prepared with questions to ask and the completed questionnaires, if you have not already returned them.
